First of all I am not "script litterate" so please speak in simple terms.
I have a build that contains 4 flaps which open and close when clicked on but individualy. How can I arrange for all 4 to open and close by clicking on only one or on a seperate "switch" prim?

Thanks in anticipation and please remember I am not technical when it comes to scripts.

You do not need a separate controller prim, although sometimes people expect to see a separate "control" button. If the doors are linked together, you can use a script that uses Link Messaging to operate them all together. If they are not linked, you need a script that uses an obscure chat channel to communicate between them (less efficient than Link Messaging).

If you are not technical, go to SLX and buy one of the door system scripts and drop it into your doors. Or, if that will not work for you because your doors need funny rotations or something, then go to the "Employment Ops" section and advertise for a scripter to do this for you. They will start from one of the many door scripts which are available for free ... if you want to look at some, use Advanced Search here in the forums and search the Scripting Tips and Library forums for threads with "door" in the title.

Good luck!
