Complex scene involving multiple animations and object motion

I need to simulate the fact that two or more vatars are taking and moving the SAME large object. How can I do that? No avatar can be attached to the same object, even if compound (many prims). Using a chimera is not so easy when animations are different and should be in synch among them and with object motion. Any hint appreciated.

You could make the object a vehicle, each seat animating the AV differently. It isnt the most user friendly way of doing it, but it would work.

It will not work. Avatar moves together with the vehicle, but let us suppose that three avatars have to raise a table above their heads and move it in another room. I should synch the movement of the table and the walking of avatars. Far to be easy to make it realistic....

The animations would be very tricky but the previous recommendation of making a vehicle would be easier than making multiple vehicles that try to sync together.
