How can I develop a weapon for a Safezone Combat Meter?

Hi, I'd like to develop a sword that works with a Safezone Combat Meter. I'm just looking for a sample script to get me going or maybe a tutorial that explains how to deal and record damage.

Go to Eve Mikazuki's Weapon store in Comatose.

She has a freely available Safezone script and sword animation, with sheath scripts to boot!

Not to mention some of the best Safezone weapons I've seen in SL. :)
