Here is the basic premise.

I have a prim containing my "script" that starts at point A.
The avatar "sits" on the prim and the "script" stops and starts the particular animations to make it lay down versus actually sit.
After a set period of time the prim moves 2m to the left for instance using llSetPos.
After another set period of time the prim moves 2m to the right (back to Start Position) using llSetPos.

Everything works EXCEPT my avatar doesn't follow the prim. It stays in the original location. It doesn't get kicked from the sit or anything it just doesn't move.

So the question is how do I make the avatar move with the prim? As basic a solution as possible here please.

I've just tried this in world, and it works perfectly for me...

I'm just wondering if you're using a child prim as your slider... they seem to have done something with that a while ago.

If you mean the prim is a child prim in a link set, then the answer is a sad "You can't". Once linked to the set, an avatar remains in the same position and rotation relative to the root prim until the avatar stands.

The child prim issue was my problem. Thanks! I should have realized that before.
