Anyone know of sims where on the main grid where we can try some Mono?
Doesn't have to be a sandbox, though i'll look silly wearing a bed.
I know one, but it seems borked right now: scripts are running slow as hell and seems a bit borked. (It was working fine the other day, and I've seen it get borked this way before it was upgraded to 1.24, so I'm hoping it's unrelated to Mono.)
Thanks

As I understand the server updates being rolled out bring the new scripting engine online. I just saw a post on the SL BLog, I think that is where.
Once the server updates are out the new 1.21RC will release and and scripts can be recompiled for Mono. Until they are, they run in the old engine.

All the Linden sandboxes have it, they were included in the 500-ish region pilot. Morris is fairly quiet as far as sandboxes go, if you get yourself off the ground.

Thanks, Viktoria, Landing.
Nalates, you can use the beta client and command line options to use it on the main grid to use Mono there now, if the region has mono.

I was going to say The 1.21RC was made available at about 5pm SL time yesterday I think. It wasn't there when I realised that Mono had been rolled out, but a bit later a friend told me he was downloading it so I grabbed it myself and had a play with some of the new functions

run beta client, at login press ctrl-shift-G or ctrl-alt-G. One of those will toggle a dropdown box where you can choose the grid to connect to. No need to mess with command line options. This works in the 1.20 client too btw.
aditi for beta, agni for main. the rest is Lindens only.
