sorry for the second quick post but...

What are the options for interobject communication? (for non-linked objects)

Just llListen()?

llListen, llEmail, and xmlrpc.

llListen being the least secure.

llEmail being possibly the slowest of the three.

and

xmlrpc being the hardest to code for.

May I point you again to http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:LSL_Communications where you'll find more information on communications within second life. You'll probably find that chat (i.e. llListen) will be best for most of your communications needs with two or more objects within one sim. Further afield than that you'll be looking at email or, with the help of an external server, HTTP and/or XML-RPC.
Each of these have their own advantage and disadvantage, it really depends on the task at hand.

Thanks. I had read the wiki...I guess a part of me had hoped that I had missed something. :)
