Is there a way to start and stop an audio stream via script?

I know I can set the stream URL to blank to stop, but here's my problem:

I have a script that sets or blanks the stream URL when I click on the prim. But if I close my client and restart it, the stream is stopped and I have to click the play button. Is there a way to script my prim so that when i touch it, it not only sets the URL, but then plays the stream immediately instead of waiting for me to press the play button?

Not for the audio stream, no. This can be done with the video stream, though.
