bullets not allowed to be more than 1 prim?

I'm trying to make a missile launcer, but no matter what I do, if I use more than 1 prim to make the missile, it doesn't die. even making the root prim an invisible box surrounding the whole missile doesn't work.

Bullets can be multiprim.

I believe the Saedaku Tactical Folder uses a 7-prim bullet. (flying knives) The flying knife actually has an invisible box around it, but it's just to make physics work a bit better for it.

The only issue I am aware of for multi-prim projectiles is that it might be challenging to get them to rez at the right location/orientation, unless they fixed llRezAtRoot(), which they might have done.
