Colors coming from scripted items

I'm having colors immenating from all scripted items. I know there is a way to turn it off, or I thought there was having seen it in a Torley tutorial long ago, but I can't find it.

It's driving me NUTS. Is there a simple way to shut it off? I've searched everywhere and tried everything I can think of. Please... HELP!!

top menu -> advanced -> uncheck "show updates"
