Hey all,

Was looking into some scripts to help track stalkers. Is there anyway to detect if your av is being tracked through LSL?

Thanks, UB

There are personal "scanners" which will tell you the 16 nearest avatars within 96m. Is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

That would be useful too. But given the presence of trackers, is there anyway to detect if someone is 'tracking' your av?

There is no way to determine if your avatar is being picked up by someone else's sensor. But generally speaking, crowded situations notwithstanding, if you're close enough to be picked up on theirs, they'll be close enough to be picked up on yours.

Unless of course they are just using a follower bot and relaying the data back via IM

AFAIK no follower will follow when you TP, so you can't be tracked from sim to sim. Also, no-one can find what sim you are in unless it's reported by an object that you have as a real attachment - which you would have had to have attached yourself.
