I have a dialog-based menu with several options. Everything is going smoothly but one of the options I need is something that would make the user sit on the targetted prim.
Is there anything along the lines of llsit() ?

Is there anything along the lines of llsit() ? "make" the user sit? As in force someone to do something they might not want to do? No. There is a script somewhere that does allow a menu input to change sit poses after someone has sat.

You could make it run the animation of "sit" from a dialog, but the only way an avatar can sit on an object is if they manually do it using the radial menu, or just click if the object is set to sit on touch.

Hmm, the reason I need to make the user sit is so I can use my improvised teleport. One of the options is 'see video' and it's supposed to plop them in a media room. At the moment it only says 'right click me and select teleport'.
You can see it if you search for 'University of Hertfordshire', it's in the main building as part of the interactive computer science boards.

Change the default "click" behaviour to "sit" instead of "touch", and have the menu appear on the change event. In case the selected menu action doesn't require the avi to sit, you can unsit him/her. Only downside is the buggy unsit effect in SL. For TP's tho, this is the best method.
