Open lid when typing, closed when finished

Good evening scripters,

I'm looking for a way I can script an in-game laptop so when I begin typing, the lid opens with rotation, and closes when I'm done typing.

I will be holding the closed laptop in one hand when not typing, and when I begin typing a message, the lid opens with an animation prepared for holding it with one hand, typing it with the other. The lid should close when I finish typing. I'm thinking of something similar to a door script on how the prim opens and closes.
