At least not the last time I looked. I assume you mean in the LSL code editor ? If you ar elooking for a better editor consider reading this thread I personally use Scite-Ez and lslint for offline testing before uploading to SL.

What about them? If you want to use Word do so. Its really down to what you are comfortable with.
