How far do the various communication commands go between 2 unlinked objects? I'm currently using llWhisper, and it seems it can't be any farther than 15 or less meters. I thought whisper worked for distances up to 20. But apparently it's not so. Is there any other ways to increase the communication difference?
thanks.

Received wisdom is that llWhisper goes 10m, llSay goes 20m, llShout goes 100m. Beyond that is email, or you can set up relays.

From: Quidel Cela Ah i see. does llListen work with llSay? or is there something else that senses llSay? The listen event handler will respond to llWhisper, llSay, and llShout. The only difference between those 3 functions is the range.

Yes, llListen will hear llSay as long as it is listening on the right channel and isn't filtered out somehow (see llListen on the wiki. A script won't hear its own says. You might also want to look at communications.
