Hello all. I am trying to create a drip for a tap on a kitcen im building for my new home, I was hoping someone might be able to help me make this script since I am totally illiterate for scripting. I will be very grateful to whoever can help me/point me in the right direction.
Thank you.

You may be lookind for the Products Wanted forum, /147/1.html Scripting Tips is for people who want help rolling their own. You may well find a suitable script that only needs a little tweaking at the Particle Lab, http://slurl.com/secondlife/Teal/180/74/21 - there are tons of working examples there.

want to loop a sound of a dripping tap?
upload a sound of a water drip... something that sounds okay when looped.
place the sound in a prim
place this script in the prim:
//By James Benedek //loop sound state on and off
default { touch_start(integer num_detected) { llLoopSound(llGetInventoryName(INVENTORY_SOUND,0),1);//Put the sound file's name thats inside the object or the UUID in between the "" state loop; } } state loop { touch_start(integer num_detected) { llStopSound();//this will stop the loop sound state default; } }
touch the prim to turn the sound on or off as it might get annoying to listen to it all the time if you're within listening distance.
