Hey all,

I have a niggly problem I am trying to figure out. I have a camping beach towel that works just fine. However when someone sits / lays on there I want to play an animation.

When the script starts it asks for the PERMISSION_DEBIT and the user Grants or Denies. No problem, the towel pays out and all is fine. However...

As soon as i stick in an ANIMATE permission for the animation in there, the DEBIT permission get wiped and nothing is payed out. I was trying not to have a pose ball on top of the towel if possible but am wondering if this is just not possible within one script?

Does any of that make any sense?!! Thank yous!!

Permissions can only be granted to one agent per-script at any given time. You can use separate scripts in the same prim, one which has debit permission from the owner to pay the camper(s), and another which obtains animation permission from the camper(s).

Every request to llRequestPermissions overrides/replaces all permissions, so you have to combine all permissions to be able to do more than one thing which requires a separate permission, or do as Deanna suggests and use separate scripts to accomplish it (if there are two different avatars that the permissions are to be requested from, rather than the same one).

I thought that when someone sat on an object, the object automatically got animation permissions from them, so you can just make them animate without having to ask?

Your script will still need to request permissions to animate, the client will automatically grant them tho.
