has anyone figured out how to block the radius of a new light in 1.10? i tried placing the colored lighting into another prim and just showing the bare minimum of it which is apparantly the middle of the prim and then changing the outside box to glow black but this doesnt seem to stop the glow. Apparantly the radius goes through solid matter
Also is is possible to apply the glowing hardware lighting to particles?

The engine only deals with the nearest 6 emitters, so if you want to block the light from the outside, you need to cover the outside walls with black-light emitters.
It's a hack, but it works.

The new lights are always point lights. Radial. No spotlights doable. The new lights are, like the old ones, not stopped by solid prims. There is no raytracing going on, only simple surface lighting, regardless of what other prims might be in the way "blocking" it. Particle do not emight light, but can "glow", which something completely different.
