Can sumone make a Multi-Ammo Vehicle Weapon Script? Basicly:
Ability to toggle fire between Semi-Auto/Single shot and Safty 1 script for the barrels (ammo included in barrels w/script) 1 scripted HUD to show If "Semi-Auto/Single Shot/Safety" and "Ammo type" 1 script for the seat so you can fire

so basically from what ive been reading, you want to make a tank that will have a turret turned towards where the user points, with different types of ammo. and you want someone else to do it for you. fascinating

Well that was sorta the plan althou I do learn from these...
As I have relized long ago not everything posted here actualy works as predicted so that also gives me a chance to try and fix the errors. Then when I cant fix I got sum ppl ingame that know a bit more than me in scripts.
The turret script after I got the errors out floped but I will try a few other things and see if I can get it workin...
And ok mabe I rely on the fourms a bit too much for my scripts but It also gives others the chance to experiment with stuff
scripting is only half the battle You gotta build the device it goes in too and for phys vehicles ya gotta keep it in a prim range and still be creative
if it makes any diffrence I plan to at least make sum of my scripts otherwise theres no fun in it...

I can whip out a decent looking model in a couple hours, but writing a good vehicle script takes many many hours. Making the physics engine do its thing is only a small piece of a good vehicle script. Its all the little details that kill you, but (like most software development) end up making the difference between something that works and something people love to use. - Jon

Ok you got me in check with that reply... yes anyone can build easyly but ya gotta know what ur doin with scripts... thats where I usualy fail... I can't script well myself I got Wiki as one of my top bookmarks when tryin to script
