I am creating a thing which needs the bow and arrow scripts, however it's not a bow. I've taken out all references to animations in the script, and also the permission request. it's fine until the arrow is shot, and then it plays the shooting arrow animation, and the avatar is then posed in the "I am holding a bow" pose.
Where are these animations lurking and is it possible to kill them in the script?

not 100% sure what you are geting at but you might posibly be able to have it llStopAnimation("animation name";); or have it go to a diffrent state after it is shot, if you wont to post what you got, maybe you just missed something

Unless you're using gestures, I think you must have missed something in the scripts. Have you checked all scripts in all prims of the objects?
