Hi,
Since finding llGetObjectDesc to find the description field of an object, I was hoping to find that llGetInventoryDesc might exist.
Or even the ability to use llRequestInventoryData to get the description field too.
No (prim)Dice!
I would really like to be able to read the description field from a notecard, specifically.
Does any know how I might go about this? It would be INCREDIBLY useful for a project of mine if there was a way.
thanks. K

In fact, some way of getting all the properties of an inventory object would be great, if that's possible
namely: Name, Description, Creator, Owner, Aquired Date and a Permissions 'mask'

Yes, would be very nice to be able to do that. I ended up stuffing information into the object name, which you can get at.

I would really like this, to make notecards more useful - for my blogging system at bloghud.com I would use the description field as the blog post title and the main body as the main blog post text Anything else is a hack - whereas this would make perfect sense
