Can avatars sit on objects worn by other avatars, or is this completely impossible to every degree?
It would be awesome fun to ride around on someone's shoulders =)

I know there are 'vehicles' which do this kind of thing, but they're usually too buggy (ie going up stairs) to be any good.

I rode on somebody's back a week or so ago... a pony girl... didn't pay much attention to how it was done at the time though... was having too much fun.

Hmm, if you could track her down again and have another go (You could always use the excuse you're erm...reasearching something) then that would be neat!

It's maybe one of the vehicle type things I've seen, where it's just two prims joined together which animate the "ridden" avvy when it's moving.

Hmm maybe proper attachment interaction might be a good idea, I was surprised when I right clicked on an attachment and didn't get touch options, you also can't pay into or buy attachments (unless I'm being thick) which is another limitation. IMO it would be easier if the "avatar" options got bundled into a sub-menu on the pie, as the vast majority of people clicking on attachments won't be doing so to add someone as a friend surely?
I mean I know loads of furs (hey I am one!) and they usually only have head/feet/hands/tail. I don't suppose moving the "add friend" option into a sub-menu for attachments would really effect anyone enough to counter the usefulness?

I don't have any votes left to put it on the vote tracker though, I've ten other ideas I'd still very much like to see. They should just hire me but I have no time =)

This would allow all kinds of nifty things beyond shoulder riding (imagine a cute chibi fur on your shoulder ^_^) such as portable tip-jars and the ability to sell things you're holding, making you a little mini store of sorts!

The riding another av trick is just a trick - both avs are riding a vehicle.

There once was a time in SL where an av could sit on the attachment of another av - Eggy's history Wiki mentions it ( I think ), but that's gone away.
