Script resetting itself under poor sim conditions?

Has anyone experienced a script resetting itself under poor sim conditions? Recently, I was running club lights (light sources) using a HUD I made. The club was pretty packed, so the sim was running below average to poor. The only two reasons the script should reset is an inventory change, or a touch longer than 2 seconds. My guess is the touch event was lagging and it counted two touches close together as 2 seconds and reset the script (due to lag) but that's just a guess. It happened to me numerous times. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have never seen (for sure) an "untriggered" script reset.

I imagine that such a thing could only really appear to happen if the sim was rolled back to where the script was in an earlier state.

In your case, I think your analysis that the time dilation caused the script to "see" an erroneous double click is the most likely explanation.

Of course, this is only my experience of things -- others may have further comment.
