I have a friend who cannot get rid of a drop down menu. It has an ignore button, but it keeps coming back. The person has logged off SL, and logged back on, to have the menu reappear again. It's the script to a door thats no mod, so we cant look at it. The door is also no mod. In short, is there a way to kill off a script and get rid of this crazy menu? Thanks

ignore simply closes the menu without giving a response. since it's no mod, you would need to remove the door, or ask the creator to fix it (replace it with one that works correctly)

That's what we want to do - close the script. Get rid of the undead blue menu that lives through logoff.
Will removing or deleting the door shut down the script I hope?
I mean yeah, it should, but .. so far this thing defies logic.

yes, removing the door will turn off the script, because the script can't run from your inventory. and as far as i know, you can't remove a script from a no mod object. so if you really want that door, but want to get rid of the menu, you would need to contact the creator about fixing it

last I checked (unless they finally fixed it) you CAN remove scripts from no mod items....
ignore (on the dialog box) will probably be your best bet, but if that fails (for instance it's timed to keep going off) then you could also try ignoring the object (I believe that works)
