Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to write to a notecard from a script?

Thanks

I feared as much, thanks. The only major gripe I have about developing in SL is that there seem to be such limited possibilities for handling text.

if you have a PHP server available to you, you can store data there as a more persistant storage/retrieval method.

Yes, I'm already doing that. The problem is how to present any significant amount of textual information to the user in SL.

Direct them to a dynamically generated web page?
