Looking for way to toggle streaming audio

I was wondering if LSL provided a way to toggle streaming audio off and on for an avatar. For example, when I am flying I don't want to connect to all of the random streams between the telehub and my ultimate destination. It would be nice to have an attachment that recognized that your avie was flying and above a specified altiitude, and ignored the streams.

Any ideas?
