I'm not quite sure what you're asking for - but the basic answer is you can't. Animations can be started and stopped by a script, and that's easy enough, but to override the basic stands you need an anim as well, and probably depending on exactly what you're after one of priority 4 - the animations forum is the place to ask about that.

I'm not sure what Allison is asking for at all, either. But if she wants the stand to play animation, visit my yard and get a "Built-in Animation pedestral". :) It is an open source.
My house is Olive (145, 112). :)

I guess you are just after an over-ride. Grab one of the billions floating around the world, and only change the standing elements of it.

If I'm understanding what you mean correctly, and this may be more than you need, but it works wonderfully: Ziggy's HUD Animation Overrider. It's free; you can get it in-world, from SL Exchange, and from SL Boutique (I think).

If you just want to override stands, only fill out the part of the notecard that sets the stand names the overrider looks for. You'll have to provide you're own animations, naturally.

There should be a blank line under each ::foo n::, such as ::standing 1::, ::standing 2::, etc... If not, go ahead and add the blank line. Now, in this blank line between each of the animation names, type the name of your animation *exactly* as it is named. So, for example, you have have an animation called *T*-Stand 6, you have to be sure to have the two "*", the dash, and the space between Stand and 6.

Once you've got the name(s) of your animation(s), be sure that you have put the animation into the overrider. Hope that helps :)
