Well you really aren't going to get any help here now.

Bye Bye!

Yeah...and this, dear readers, is why you don't piss off the people you're asking for help.

I'd say...you asked everyone on this forum..so... yeah you did.. just pointing that out....

Why would you legitimately need a script to push in no-push zones?

Yeah i don't suggest you ask for that, because there is pretty much no point. No scripter in their right mind would freely opensource safe zone pushing scripts to the public, knowing that 1000s of noobs would someday use these scripts to annoy the population further.

I can point you in a direction but I need to ask, why? Why defeat the purpose of the push restriction at all?

And before others jump on me, I'm not saying I *would*, nor that I will, just that I could. I'd really like to know the reasoning behind the request because I, like others here, can see no reason other than griefing.

Well...I wouldn't have posted code to do it, but I might've hinted if the tone weren't so hostile. It's essentially a knowledge thing to me, and the method has applications other than weapons/orbitting...though obviously I would be more-likely to go in depth with someone not specifically looking to make a weapon to orbit people ;)

It's really not that terribly hard to do, I've never really tested a script to do it, but the implementation is just finesse really...but ah well.

You're right though, it might not be advisable to describe at all really.

A: piss off! tell me how!
C: that wasn't very nice, no help for you

I so love when these posts come up it's like a forum opera with a disposable character =)

Well, some would, if that was their intention.

But I see no reason to help someone who is clearly (a) rude (b) lazy and (c) intent on causing trouble for their own profit. Speaking personally.

However, I am prepared to offer special consultancy rates for Griefing Device Support. US$200 per hour will buy my undivided attention for that period. Payment in advance, if you please, and no escrow.

How can I make weapons that let other people be total jerks?
10-14-2007 04:55
Seriously what would be a legitimate use of this? I mean I could come up with some ideas of where one might start but, why?

Breaking some rules can be fun when the restrictions are kind of silly (rezzing temporary objects etc... although that could bug someones prim count) but pushing people around?

Meh.

Is there a legitimate use for this?
