How long can the text be on a button in llDialog? I tried something and could only display 12 characters.

The text on the buttons can be up to 24 characters in length, but due to the fixed size of the buttons and the font size in the UI, less than 10 are visible. Still, if you click the button, the full text will be heard by any nearby listeners.

higher-end Unicode characters will display far fewer than 10 characters., and in my recollection, the font used to display buttons is NOT monospace, so your mileage will probably vary based on character widths.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
