I would like to generate a particle, and have it just sit there... never going away...
possible?
If not, what is the best way to cause it to regenerate such that it looks like it is not being regenerated?
Thanks so much

ive had decent luck with drop particles, you can get them where they appear to be just there (untill you move them and get a drop trail), with at worst a flicker here and there

Set PSYS_SRC_MAX_AGE to 0.00 Don't confuse this with PSYS_PART_MAX_AGE. The first determines the age of the particle *system*, the second the age of each individual particle within that system. By setting PSYS_SRC_MAX_AGE to zero you have effectively sent the particle system into an infinite loop. ![]() |
