Hi all, been a while but I can't help it I am absolutley stuck! Hopefully its not blazing on fire staring me in the face like it sometimes does but if so all the better :)

I have finally figured out how to auto-rez my flying vehicles so they are not all physical and can be over 31 prims, etc, etc... Fantastic, I'm very happy and thanks to all that helped me! :)

BIG PROBLEMO... Once the vehicle is in motion... the whole thing becomes phantom no matter what flags I set it seems. I am assuming this is because most of the ship is an attachment.

SO... how do I get around this? I'm not building a super fancy multi deck cruiser... just a basic very large disc that 5 or 6 people can walk around in with huge viewable area... I thought it would make a nice sort of moving platform more than anything.

OR.. is it that anytime something massive is moving, everyone is pretty much comitted to sitting on something until the ship stops?

Thank you all for your help as always, and let me know if there is anything I can contribute in return. I'm finally getting pretty decent at all this as time goes on, bit by bit. LOL

My best,
- Hap

The problem is that the attachment parts will become phantom.

The rest of your ship (non-attachment parts) shouldn't be phantom. Just make sure all your floor pieces are normal?

Ok well that's just it then. The whole reason I needed the idea was because it took too many prims to build the circular floor size I wanted (without using megaprims yes), so I guess that no matter what I do, get 30 prims of physics setup to go, and people can use them to stand on while the vehicle is in motion, since they are physical, without having to sit down, but anything attached for looks and additions is all moot other than looks.. what a bummer!!!!

I wonder what the heck those guys that make the huge super ships go to all the trouble for? LOL

Many thanks!!

Take care,
- Hap
