Has anyone heard of / is familiar with, a script named " sll.ll " ???

It's in a transparent .500 square cube, underwater, on a 16 sq. m. parcel of land in Kane ( loc. 218, 38 ).

The Objects name is "SLL" .. Version 1.2.

What do you think... Land Scanner?

I wish I knew why some people name their scripts *.LL.

Sounds like a landscanner, though it could be just someone with a fetish for making small, transparent, scripted cubes and hiding them underwater.

I don't understand someone using .LSL either.

well if you are using an outside editor you might want to keep the postfix.

I think all my attempts at humor today have been lost on people. Ah well.

In Perl it just seems ridiculous to end a script name with .pl in unix. But windows kind of forces it on you. Also in windows three letter extensions seem to rule. Hypertext markup language? .htm

Thanks for your responses... I'm a coding virgin *eek!* so the humor here is going WAY over my head.. :)

I'm somewhat new and have heard of landscanners, but never encountered one :)

...but let me take a stab at the humor part; is it that using the "ll" the scripter think's he's being covert in the fact that it's supposed to look like a Linden made script?

And yes, it's a 'he' , and has been around since '03 , initial's R.U. :)

One of these days I really wish LL would implement a "View Script Statistics" window. That way, we might be able to read little things like "ACTIVE - llOverMyLand," "ACTIVE - llScriptDanger" or the like and think Hmm...

It might also be good for exponential listener scripts.:p

Oh well. Guess I can dream of that and my llCaffeLatte. :D
