How do I make a door open?

I am looking for two scripts. One that would make a door open by clicking on it, and another that would make a door open automatically when somebody comes near it.

Thank you for you help.

I think he is asking for a Script that works properly instead of opening like it were a robot. The script that is free on Sl doesn't work properly.

define "properly" ?

if you mean incremental motion, then yeah there's a few examples of those on the forum too.

if you mean drag to rotate, then there aren't any convenient ways to do that... (it IS possible to do... but the methods to make it work are a PITA and I've never seen an example done.)

Yeah, I'm guessing you're referring to an actual physical door... ugh SL's physics aren't advanced enough for that. I've been experimenting with jointed prims in openSim, but I've made a few inquiries at some office hour meetings and it seems jointed prims aren't even on the radar at this point. Too bad though, would make a real swing door totally possible.
