I'm looking for some way to do a "reverse" follow. Usually, follow scripts work where the prim follows the avatar. This is relatively easy (especially when you grab the script from this forum , but my question is if it's possible to do the reverse. I want to move the prim somewhere and have the avatar follow it, using script. Obviously, having the prim move is the easy part... but how would the script get the av to follow? I'm familiar with experiences where the prim asks "is it ok to animate your avatar", yada yada. Is that what I need here? I'm ok with a quick and dirty solution also. Thanks for any help you can provide. -pi

Snag the avatar with an invisible prim and have the invisible prim then follow the destination prim?.
Alternatively - Have the avatar wear the source prim and then have the source prim follow the destination prim.

So, that would be like "caging", basically?

So... does that mean it will be difficult to find a script to accomplish this?
Also does "push" have to be enabled in the land where it would be executed?

there's a freebie weapon called a "Fan - Come to me" by Mistress Midnight. when you shoot someone with it, it rezzes an invisible torus "ring" around the target. That ring then moves to the shooter's location, dragging the avatar with it. Only works on non-flying avatars (for semi-obvious reasons).
Doesn't need push.
But perhaps you could utilize this technique?

V. easy: have the pet chat it's position then when the attachment hears it have it call llMoveTo with the location or a short distance from it. Pity the ability to rotate avatars is so poor though.
