Whats the best way to make one of this? Multiplying something to llVecMag(), using the agent events or what? Does it matter where the device would be worn, because I'm planning on putting it on the waist. Thank you for any help.

I don't think it matters where you attach it. I'd also guess that llVecDist with a 1-second or so timer is probably the easiest way to keep track of how far somebody has traveled.
Are you concerned about walking vs flying? Also, beware region changes and TPs. Probably want to find the speed that people generally move at (there's a 'limits' page on the wiki somewhere that might tell you) and just ignore position changes that don't seem reasonable. _____________________

Nah, i don't care about flying...i guess if your flying you might be using up a lot of calories as well lol. Thanks for advice
