Hoping for some help here...

A couple of months ago i clicked on an object... a fortune ball. Since then, every day, many times a day, I received email IMs from it with a 'fortune'... the same fortune every time. I never received a message of it via IM in world.

Today I noticed a pattern... it sent to email a message when i logged into SL, although i never received an IM from it in world. All emails from this object are sent when i am not in world, every two hours approximately, with none showing when i log in. So now I am thinking it may be spying on me lol, checking if i am in world and when

In frustration once, I hit reply on several of the emails to me and got the owner of the object im'ing me in world asking why i am sending all these strange IMs. I explained I was shocked that the replies went to a resident and apologized. I then explained what was up asking if she could she please look into the issue or delete the object to stop it harrassing me via email. I thought i was nice about it but i think she thought i was loco and she has possibly muted me :(

Next i was able to contact creator of object twice, and he said he'd look into it, asked a few q's bout it but still no go. :(

Any help offered to get this to stop would be appreciated

TIA
flo

...you can mute objects. I routinely mute shouting splodder balls and other paraphernalia when I'm in clubs. :)

But really, the Owner/Creator should sort it between them. The object is either malfunctioning or ARable.

Ty for your response Pale.

I would try muting in world but i never get a message from it while in world.

Also, I've written support but have not received, nor expect to receive anytime soon, any response yet.

In world, did you try:

View.... Mute List, then Mute object by name... type in the EXACT name copied from your IM... OK
