Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to script a door to only let age verified users in(or if there is some place they are sold, I could not find any through the search). If not, is there some other way to make only a single room age verified?

Why would you need to? Just so you know...

Having a room or parcel on your mature mainland sim/private island that is deemed adult wont work. If you have commercial adult content, you will have to either have the entire Sim flagged adult, or rent/buy land on an adult sim. If its simply for something in the privacy of your own home, your fine. If it is any type commercial adult content, you have to be on Adult rated land.

Right! Put the door in an adult sim. No one can get there if they aren't age verified, so no one who isn't age verified can get through it.

Seriously? Err...no. There is no LSL function that will tell you whether a resident has been age verified, though there is one (llRequestSimulatorData()) that will tell you whether the sim is running an adult region, and one (llRequestAgentData()) that will tell you if the resident has payment info on file.

You can check for payment info status, but it is not possible to do a scripted check for Aristotle age verification status.

I wish I had time to go inworld and play around with this idea but I think a person could create a small parcel within a larger one that limits access to age-verified residents using the land settings. Doesn't matter how your land is rated content wise.

Your building would have to be precise and follow the age-verified parcel boundaries. And, the non-verified residents would end up seeing ugly banlines.

Doors mean nothing when cameras and llPushObject can get through any wall. (^_^)y
