I've been thinking for ages of doing a prim torture class.

great list, but I notice no where on the list of classes do you have loops, statements, functions, recursive functions, or debugging and or documentation. I just mentioned loops because I know many biggening programers have trouble with the idea of funtions and or loops.

Classes...

Kyrah - I agree! I intend to put together a several-lesson syllabus that goes from "What is LSL", through basic programming practices, variables, loops, etc. I hope to start offering it sometime next week. I've got a long history of teaching people how to level-edit FPS games, from DOOM2 through Half-Life - so I'm very familiar with folks who are "starting from scratch," and I think I teach things pretty clearly. Strife - Please let me know when you're going to have that class! Prim torture is the one thing I haven't done yet; and I would like to learn... My current scripting project is teaching me everything I wanted to know about all other aspects of LSL; but thankfully, no torture required. Take care, --Noel "HB" Wade (Tread Whiplash) P.S. No "particle system" topic in the Poll either - but I think that would fall under "color/shape/texture".

Is that "Scripted Prim Torture"?
Imagine the near fractal type objects you can make!
Add a few twisted textures and voila... art!

From: Strife Onizuka I've been thinking for ages of doing a prim torture class. Heh, from what you've shown me and what I saw at that last Scripting Expo, that's quite your specialty. Ohhh, you prim-torturer, you!

I imagine I should put together an object importing class as well...
