hi,
I'm using Callahan combat script (CCC) for a ship I made and I installed a physical bullet that for some reason when I fire does damage to me. I explored many possibilities and I cant seem to figure it out. I even set it up so the bullets rez way in front to be sure they aren't hitting me. No matter what I do.... I get hit.
I'm guessing the bullet script I have is bad. Can anyone here recomend a good CCC physical bullet or script?
Thanks.

I'm guessing like most bullets the rezzed object extends quite a ways back to make up for the poor contact detection in SL.... perhaps don't mount the gun or rez the bullet dirrectly in front of you?

Ive seen that before.. how I corrected it was by increasing or decreasing the velocity of the bullet

my friend and I figured it out. The "sleep" part of the script was too low. So I raised it from 0.2 up to 1.0 and it works fine. I guess the bullet needed some time to get away from the gun.
Thanks.
