Is there anyway to script the "http://.slurl.com...." portion out of the dialogue box that appears to the reciever when using llGiveInventory(llDetectedKey(x), llGetInventoryName(INVENTORY_LANDMARK, 0)); ? Thanx :-)

not sure what you mean, since I don't get that.... but that may be the nicholaz client at work... I get
"An object name <giving object name> owned by <owner> has given you a landmark named '<landmark inventory name>'
( <region and coordinates of the giving object> )"

now in the chat window I see
You decline '<landmark inventory name>' (
http://slurl.com/secondlife/<giving objects' region and coordinates> ) from <giving object name>.

AFAIK you can't get rid of ANY of that, it's appended by the server, and not controllable via script
