Hi there, is there a ''give object/notecard''/"Give all objects" script which only allows for a specified avatar to receive the objects when box is clicked??
I know it was a bad idea, or a little too trusting idea, on their part, but today someone left me something in my house using one of these scripts and someone came onto our lot and obviously received all the contents in the box. So a few hundred lindens lost. :|
If you know of a script please direct me to where I can get this, ty!

string name = "Ginge Reymont"; default { touch_start(integer det) { if (llKey2Name(llDetectedKey(0)) == name) { // do stuff } } }

Or, alternatively, they could have just given the stuff directly to you.....
Why would you ever want to do this, compared to just opening the recipients profile from find, and dragging the objects to it from your inventory?

From: 2fast4u Nabob Perhaps....a treasure hunt....a gift box....prize giveaway/claim box.... but in that case, you don't know who is going to find it, and..... anyone who _does_ find it has won, so should get the contents.

From: Bitzer Balderdash but in that case, you don't know who is going to find it, and..... anyone who _does_ find it has won, so should get the contents. That's true...it could be a treasure hunt for someone - I have seen many people doing that. Someone leaves clues around SL (in boxes that have these types of scripts) for a particular person to find something. The script in this thread supports this type of functionality.
