I have a building high in the sky. This contains a script using llSensorRepeat.
This detects me when I am on the "ground" floor, but when I am on the 1st floor, I go out of range.
Investigating, I noticed that my height was 248 when I was detected, and 258 was out of range. The magic number 256 immediately came to mind.
I can see the possibilities of a bug. I could not find any reference to a height ceiling. Does the sensor work only below 256m or does it have trouble crossing a 256m height boundary or have I got something else wrong with my script?

It is almost certainly not related to your altitude, well in the sense of relativity to the ground, it may be due to your distance from the object calling the sensor. Sensors donot return reliable data past 96 meters. You may be at the fringe of your sensors limits?

I suddenly realised I was limiting the detection to the current sim (see my other thread) by checking for values over 255, including the Z vector *slaps forehead* So please ignore me
