I was working with a push script (I have a few projects that ask for a really powerful push) and I keep running into limitations to llPushObject.
I know the limitations that the wiki gives, and I tried using them, but from my experience it still seems limited to about 500 meters (or that's the most I have been able to do). I know I have been pushed in the past about 3000 meters, so it's possible to do more. Just curious if anyone wants to share.

Maybe I can help. I've launched myself into the stratosphere obscenely fast a few times with LSL. The simplest means are: 1) Make the object generating the push larger (more mass = more push) 2) Get the pushing object closer to the victim 3) Have multiple pushers at the same time 4) Combine push with other functions if possible (example: llApplyImpulse) I've also had some fun experiments with how rotational torque works in Havok. I built a spindel with llSetTorque at an innocent number (5m) and a 20m rotational axis and, well... end up 3 sims away if not 11,000m up. Fun times! Just don't overdo it, though. Ye olde magnet and push guns kinda suck - and can cause users to lose synch with the server if thrown more than one sim away.
