I'm sure you have all seen the new craze, people walking around with those spammy publicenter ad boads attached, what i want to know is if its possible for someone to make a script that can detect anyone wearing one and then eject them?

Just have a look around any of the places on the popular places list, that seems to be the main area they are told to walk around, its so bad i ban one and sometimes straight away or within 10-15mins there will be another one.

From: Cyclone Stringfellow I'm sure you have all seen the new craze, people walking around with those spammy publicenter ad boads attached, what i want to know is if its possible for someone to make a script that can detect anyone wearing one and then eject them? Why are they causing you pain? Damn good way of people earning , I say, beats sitting in a camping chair all day. The German guy I met today with one was quite polite and I even took him to the Freebi Wearhouse so he could find free clothes he was looking for. Can we ban people with sneakers too? How a bout a script banning those evil people wearing T-shirts with logo's on them too while we are at it? Can we have a way of determining before teleporting. area's owned by snoobs that ban people on their clothing sense, and also automuting them?

Kathrine, do you really want your competitors advertising in YOUR store? I sure don't, and I think most people here don't, either.
When I open a shop, you can be darned sure I will eject and ban anyone wearing these. Attempting to steal someone's customers away from within their own property is just plain scummy!
Your comparisons to banning people for everything else is totally irrelevant. This is something that could cost people business, and they are in no way wrong for wanting them off their property.
You might be okay with losing money. I would not be.

Lots of places pay for there traffic and the majority of these people i have come across are damn right rude when asked politely to remove there board, it is nothing more than blatant spamming at the end of the day. Should i walk into McDonald’s with a billboard strapped to me advertising Burgerking? no because that would be very unprofessional and would results in a lawsuit launched against Burgerking. I for one will continue to eject and ban everyone of these pesents.
