Radio won't Deed

I don't sell radios but I sell objects that come with radios. My problem is that some report that they can't deed their radios on land that isn't their own. They had deeded other objects but not the radio that they got from me. I fool around with scripts sometimes but not a scripter by any means. I want to know what I need to change. Do i need to add something to the script or is it with permissions. I'm completely at a loss. Help needed lol.

Oh btw if I try to deed it on my land I can..... but others apparently cannot

the object needs to be transferable to be able to deed it to a group because it basically is SL's eyes, it changes owners. even if the owner of the group is the one deeding the object. if you don't want to make the radio transferable, you could use a relay. the radio could be left undeeded, say a command on a specific channel that the relay would hear. the relay would need to be deeded so that it can change the media. the relay can also be used to control media on multiple parcels.

The other thing is that some people may not understand that not all group members can deed objects to the group. It requires that the right group ability is granted to one of the member's roles. This is a very good thing, but one that not everyone understands.

oh right, i forgot about that. yep in the group abilities, that can be turned off, but i think it's on automatically right?
