Hi, I'm really new to scripting so I apologize if this is a stupid question. I have a locking door script that I copied from my house door to a door on my boat. I want to set it so that the renters living on the boat can lock and unlock the door using the voice commands that I use on the house.

However, when I drop the script into the door parts on the boat and add the "av keys" to the proper place within the script it doesn't work for them. The door still opens, but they can't get it to lock. They also cant hear the voice confirmations.

I'm renting this boat over water land that I haven't set to a group so I still have direct ownership of the land and the boat--is this affecting how the lock works? Also I pulled the door script from a house door with one moving part--the houseboat has 3 moving parts for its door. Any help would be appreciated!! :)

Without seeing the script its impossible to give you more than semi educated guesses.
Check the av keys are correct i.e is the door actually recognising the avatars?

Also check taht the door isnt defaulting to owner only operation.
