Those scripted dice that are in the library -- is there any way to get them to announce what they total up as?

they're modifiable, so yah. . . you'd get the slave die which is rezzed to get its rotation once it stops moving, which should tell you what side is up. Have it announce that number to the parent die who would then add that to whatever number it rotated to to give you the total
