What is or where may I find a list of all the apps available for secondlife.
ie.
secondlife:///app/agent/<agent UUID>/about
I mainly looking for the search app and place app, but a list would be really helpful.

Well, that was a wealth of information. But I'm also looking for the different "web apps" such as
http://world.secondlife.com/resident/<key> http://world.secondlife.com/group/<key> http://secondlife.com/app/image/<key>/1 I'd like to know what the one for search is. I'n also looking for the way to see payment info/no payment info on file on the web. I've seen it before but have forgotten the url. |

Okay, now how do you find if a person has payment info used or not? |

Okay, now how do you find if a person has payment info used or not? You don't. _____________________

Okay, now how do you find if a person has payment info used or not? Huh? I beg to differ Strife... I have a avie scanner that I wrote that delivers pay info no problem. key llRequestAgentData (key id, DATA_PAYINFO); works fine for me... Why would someone want to go through all the trouble of hacking info out of SL websites when there's a script function to do it anyways? |

We know that one. Bobbyb30 was asking how to do it with an app address off the web. Yeah, I understand, I was just wondering why go through all the trouble of an http request, and all the parsing to find the data when llRequestAgentData is so compact, easy, and built specifically for that purpose is all. |

(Like, say, if one were scripting an object-email-to-agent spammer, it might be preferable to spam just the real accounts, not others of the spammer ilk. )_____________________

Is it possible to open a profile using these apps and URI from within LSL? Is there any way to open a profile period from LSL?

not yet.
llLoadURL is as close as it gets, and as I recall, it's not terribly useful for this application. It might work for the "web" versions of the profiles and such, but I'm not sure it's good at handling the urls that open inworld windows. llSaying or llInstantMessaging the url into the chat history is what MOST applications use. (the clickable "join group" signs, for example, simply "say" the url into chat, inviting the person to "click the link to join the product support group" _____________________

You could use llLoadURL() to send the user to the web version of the profile I think. I don't think there's any way to pop up the in-world non-browser profile window. EDIT: Oops. Missed your response Winter, because of the paging. Sorry. |
