drag/drop notecard into an object

I need a way for members of a specific group to drag and drop a notecard and a pic or texture into an object that they do not own and cannot modify. Can this be done and how?

llAllowInventoryDrop(TRUE);

However, it will allow *anyone* to drop stuff into the object. There's no way to limit access to group via this function, but you can come up with some kind of workaround which won't be pretty that will require them touching the object beforehand, and then have it move the items so dropped to another prim via llGiveInventory and llRemoveInventory.
