If I put llWhisper in a 10x10x0.25 cylinder, would the range then cover the entire top surface area? edit: radius and diameter are two different things...sigh hehe
(does the radius start from the center of an object?)
Thanks in advance (if you can IM me in-world, that'd be awesome). -Ipenda Keynes

Keep in mind that say/whisper range seems to be spherical... distance to a listening avatar may be longer if it has to go up/down to get to a nearby avatar. Oh... and for the purpose of hearing range... assume avatar's ears are in their.. um... pelvis.

actually, because the range is spherical, it woulnd't cover the entire top surface area, but rather the entire center surface area.. but since the cylinder is 0.25 high, it works out to be about the same. and yes, it would actually cover twice as far out, since the cylinder being 10 meters diameter would only be 5 meters radius. That explains why everything is so muffled. I need to loosen my belt!!
