Didn't I read somewhere that they were going to "fix" llDetectedGrab so it would no longer work on non-physical objects?
I was pretty sure it was in the 1.8.2 release notes... but I can't find it anymore. Maybe I just had a bad dream... oO

Maybe you are thinking about this, from /invalid_link.html

From: Karen Linden

llDetectedGrab(), a LSL call, no longer works on non-physical objects. This was discovered in the most recent version of Second Life, but may have been a problem in previous versions.

I don't think they've fixed this yet but you can still use llDetectedGrab on non-physical object. Put llDetectedGrab in a pysical prim and link it to a non-physical one, the linked set will be non-physical while llDetectedGrab still works for the prim that was physical when you linked it.

Thank you. I was planning on making extensive use of this function on my current project. I hope they get it fixed soon.
